Dr. Samadi is the Chairman of Urology and Chief of Robotic Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He is one of the few urologic surgeons who has been trained in both oncology and robotic radical prostatectomy in the United States. To date, Dr. Samadi has performed over 10,000+ robotic laparoscopic prostatectomies with patient-pleasing results.
Dr. Samadi is a board-certified urologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of urologic diseases, kidney cancer, bladder cancer, and prostate cancer. He performs a variety of advanced, minimally invasive prostate cancer treatments.
He completed postgraduate studies in general surgery at Montefiore Medical Center and in urology at Albert Einstein School of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center. He then completed oncological fellowship studies in urology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and a fellowship in radical robotic prostatectomy at Henri Mondor Hospital Creteil in France, under the supervision of Professor Claud Abbou.
Dr. Samadi is a member of the American Urological Association and the American Medical Association.
